Digital Imaging 1: Digital Paintings

Objective: 

  • Students will demonstrate how to use paint brush tool, eye dropper, and mixer brush tool.
  • Students will execute painting accurately. Colors are blended well; there are shadows, highlights, and a high level of detail.
  • Students will correctly use previously learned tools on Photoshop
  • Students will utilize layers in Photoshop correctly to create painting.

Digital Imaging 2: Typography Art

Objective: Students will demonstrate the type in area, type on path, and create outlines with type to design a Typography built image.



·          Typography-The art or process of printing or designing with type

·         Abstract-art that depicts real forms in a simplified or reduced way

·         Font-a specific size and style of type within a type family

·         Letterform-each letter of an alphabet can be distinguished from the others by its unique shape, or letterform

·         Stroke-the thickness or thinness of a line
Color Theory-the concept of combining colors to reach a desired result
